Forest Service Burn Pile

It has been brought to the attention of the Sawtooth City Assoc. that non-natural wood products (milled or treated lumber and fencing), and an abandoned flatbed trailer have been left at the Forest Service burn pile, located out Smiley Creek Road and up the hill to towards towards the west.

It has been an established burn pile for many years, allowing us and others to take all of their yard scraps and natural forest debris. It has been abused before, the FS threatened to shut it down if it didn't get cleaned up. Once again, someone has left items there that could cause the shut down. It may have not been a local from our community and is open to others to use, as there were trucks bringing wood debris from The Beev this summer. So if anyone knows who may have left the trailer or the stained/painted fencing, please let me know. It needs to be removed. Thanks, Suzy Hayes
