Join the Sawtooth Fire Collaborative in Stanley on Friday, October 2nd at 4:00pm for a free public event! Hear from the new US Wildland Fire Service (USWFS) and Idaho Transportation Department (ITD). Ed Christopher, USWFS Division Chief for Pre & Post-Wildfire Mitigation and Education, will speak about federal firefighting priorities. Travis Hire, Emergency Manager for ITD, will speak about how ITD responded to the Wapiti fire and its aftermath including the recent flash floods and landslides.

This event is free and open to everyone, and we will serve free pizza and beer. Bring questions for our speakers, and we'll see you in Stanley!
